Today's post was inspired by a feature I read yesterday on Who What Wear. The topic is menswear, specifically the necktie! We all know that menswear has huge influence on the ladies right now with oxford shoes, blazers, boyfriend jeans etc. But would you go as far as wearing a tie?
Who What Wear
I think I prefer a cheeky version like Jessica Alba's sequined sweater or this cute top. And if the traditional necktie is not your thing, you can always put a twist on like Jane did and turn it into a bow!
Sea of Shoes
I think her menswear inspired look is just perfect! I love the mix of dots! So tell me, would you wear one of these versions?
*I wanted to add a little thank you for the feedback on Would You? Wednesdays. These are becoming my favorite posts and I always enjoy reading everyone's thoughts! So thanks so much for taking the time to comment!

im loving that necktie sweater jessica alba is wearing would love to own that sweater but it probably would cost me an arm and a leg
ReplyDeleteI've seen it look cute on others, but I don't personally think I'd do a tie...I do love menswear inspired looks though :)
ReplyDeletei like it. i definitely think tailoring is key. picking the right fit in menswear for your non-manly body is tricky. i love a perfect fitting suit! man or woman!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea but don't think I could do it. However, I could and would totally do the cheeky version like Jessica Alba. Great post! :)

I definitely think they look cute on some girls, but they would NOT look cute on me... hahaha! High necklines just make my head and face look larger than they are! HAHAHA.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely wear this look, but only if there was a feminine touch added like the polka dots:)
