Would You? Wednesday...

Yesterday I was browsing around Pinterest when I came across the image below. I immediately feel in love with her laid back and effortlessly cool style. And those gorgeous ombre locks are just putting it over the top! I think the item that's really selling it for me is her cute pink and navy varsity jacket! So today I tracked down a few more images to get your gals opinions. Now what do think? Would you "sport" a varsity jacket? ;)

A Dose of Black and White...

Ladies, today is a first for the blog. It's my first ever official "outfit post"! I have to be honest, I took these pictures months ago but never ended up using them. But when I read that this week's theme for Friday's Fancies was "Black and White", I figured what better opportunity than now to share them! So ta-da!! *Please note, my friend Megan and I were totally winging it and have no clue what we are doing when it comes to photography. It made for a highly entertaining afternoon. So please be gentle. :)

I'm in love with the zipper details and the cut on this blazer but for whatever reason I've hardly worn it. But don't worry, come spring this baby will be getting plenty of use!

Unfortunately you can't see it, but this dress has a cute open low back cut out. (*Note to future self, don't pose in front of an ugly brown garage door.)

These boots are my fave! They are my Rag and Bone knock offs that I posted about here

Blazer: F21 (similar) /Dress: F21 (I'd recommend this one for Spring) /Boots: Wet Seal (no longer available) /Clutch: Target (similar) /Sunnies: Ray Bans

So what do ya think? Would you all like to see more outfit posts on the blog? As always, thanks for the feedback! Have a happy Friday!

Would You? Wednesday...

Happy Wednesday ladies! Does anyone else despise the phrase "happy hump day"? I've never been a fan. So in that case, let's move on to WYW! I hope everyone is having a lovely week so far. I can't complain because Arizona has been experiencing some amaaaazing weather the last few days. (Sorry to those Mid-westerners and East-coasters battling the snow!) With 70 and 80 degree temps, it's got me longing for skirts, dresses and bright colors! So today it's all about another hot trend for Spring, print mixing. You may have dabbled with this or seen it done last Spring/Summer but this season the prints are bolder and the colors are brighter! Take a look!

So what do you think? Will you be attempting this trend come spring? I personally can't wait!

A Dose of Prabal Gurung for Target Collection...

Happy Friday gals! If you haven't heard yet, Prabal Gurung is the next designer who will be teaming up with Target. While I've been really disappointed when it comes to these collaborations lately, (Neiman Marcus holiday collection? Huge flop!)  I've gotta say I'm looking forward to February 10th! I mean, the floral prints, bright neon's, pretty dresses and those shoes! I just all so perfect for Spring. And did I mention that it's totally affordable? Score! I might just be waiting outside my local Target come Sunday morning! Below are three looks I've got my eye on.

Would You? Wednesday...

Happy Wednesday gals! Today we are tackling one of Spring's biggest trends, black and white! But of course it wouldn't be Would You? Wednesday without putting a little spin on it, so what do you think about these black and white striped pants? I've seen plenty of great streetstyle snaps of ladies sporting this look (here, here and here) and I'm kinda loving it. Not sure if I'll be buying a pair myself, (unless they were super flattering and cheap!) but I do think they are a fun look! What about you? Would you? Or are they a little too "Beetlejuice" for you? :)

A Dose of New Beauty Faves...

Ok, so starting last summer my skin decided to have a major freak out and my normal Cetaphil or CeraVe was not cutting it. So I tried out a few new cleansers but nothing seemed to do the trick. It either made it worse or I felt like I wasn't getting that squeaky clean feel I love. But thanks to the angel at Sephora (I really should go in and thank her!) I've finally found a product I loooove! Enter Ole Henriksen. I started to notice results immediately. My skin and texture was smoother and the breakouts and irritation I was experiencing calmed down after just the first few days. I understand it could be pricey for some, but the bottle is huge (12 oz) compared to some other brands and it works great so I'm sold!

I'm sure you've already heard tons of great things about this product but I only just recently tried it out. *gasp!* I know. I just never felt the need to use a primer on my lids because I don't typically wear eyeshadow on a regular basis. However, sometimes I would have issues with my eyeliner rubbing off on my lids by the end of the day. This product keeps my eyeliner in place all day long and for days when I do wear shadow, it works wonders. Now it's a regular in morning beauty routine.

I'm officially pledging my allegiance to this mascara. Try it, you'll love it. I swear!
Have you ladies tried one of these yet? Let me preface this by saying I have never been one to use sponges when applying makeup! Yuck! However, after hearing about the "Beauty Blender" I decided to test it out with this cheaper version made my Sephora. And I love it! You dampen the sponge and squeeze it out, then apply concealer with the pointed end and foundation with the fat end using a blotting method, not strokes. It gives you an "air brushed" look and feels like your wearing nothing at all. It's definitely cut back the amount of foundation I'm using. Plus it's washable and reusable!

Bite Lip Shine - "Vintage"
For Christmas I received a lip gloss set of some Sephora favorites. One of them was a pretty gloss by a brand called Bite. I'd never heard of them before so I did a little research and let me tell you, they are serious about lip care! Their products are all-natural and healthy enough to eat! They contain ingredients like resveratrol, jojoba, argan oil etc. So any product that offers anti-aging fighters and other healthy benefits is a winner in my book!

Have you ladies tried any of these products or plan on giving them a go? If so, I'd love to hear what you think! Or do you have any new (or tried and true!) beauty favorites that you're loving? Please share in the comments!
