The Crop Top

The crop top..I've seen them on the runways and thought to myself, "would I ever" or actually, "could I ever" pull this off in real life? Well, after seeing it on Krystal I'm totally inspired to try this trend! Above is my take on how to make this look work a night out with your man or maybe brunch with the girls. So it's official, I'm on a mission to find the perfect crop top as well as the perfect occasion to wear it! A Dose of Shade(s)...

Come summer time, it will be hard to find me without a pair of shades attached to my face. Not just because they are a necessity here in Arizona, but because they are my favorite summer accessory! From $5 drugstore frames to Ray Bans, I think they are the perfect way to complete any outfit. You can never have too many (much like shoes..) and this season I'm obsessed with colored frames. Above are some bright and playful shades that are making me anxious for beach vacations and backyard BBQ's! So tell me, what is your favorite summer accessory?

Green with Envy...

 

 

Today's post is a lil' dose of green to get you in the holiday spirit this weekend! I'd love to have any of these items in my closet right now..especially those mint sunnies! Only 23 bucks at Mango! Be on the look out for an upcoming post about my favorite summer accessory...hint, those sunglasses might be included. I hope everyone has a fun-filled St. Patrick's Day! I'll be reppin' the Irish in me with these Guinness cupcakes! Um, yum.

Tried and True





I have to confess, I am quite the beauty product junkie. I love trying all sorts of new products but when I find one that works, I stick to it. Here are a few of my favorite products in my current rotation. I'm sure many of you are familiar with these products but I'd love to hear your thoughts!

1. Caudalie Beauty Elixer- After cleansing (I use Cetaphil) and before moisturizing, I mist my face with this. It acts like part-toner, part-serum and smooths and tightens pores. I'm new to this product but after a few weeks I'm hooked! I instantly see a difference and have cut back on using a primer. 

2. Philosophy Hope in a Jar- I've tried tons of moisturizers and this one seems to always do the trick year round. Since I have naturally oily skin, just a lil' goes a long way. It feels like a drink of water for your face!

3. Smashbox Halo Perfecting Powder- I managed to get this at wholesale cost or else I would never spend that much! But if your willing to drop the money, this stuff works wonders!

4. Nars Blush in Orgasm-After continuing to hear great things about this color I finally made a switch from my norm and I love it! It really does work on any skin tone.

5. Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid liner- I've shared this one with you before. You can read about here.

6. Benefit High Beam- I'm in love with this product! It's great for highlighting or giving you that fresh dewy look! Especially awesome in the winter months when skin can get a lil' dull.
