Would You? Wednesday...

Rihanna has been seen sporting them for a while, Lana Del Rey has adopted them as a part of her signature style, and they made their appearance on several Spring runways. I'm talking about nails...long oval shaped nails! Now even though a fun and funky manicure is one of my absolute favorite things, this nail trend however, I. just. can't. Several of my girlfriends have actually given this a try but I'm still not warming up to this look. I think this is the first WYW trend that I would never attempt! ha! But I want to hear what you ladies think, would you?

An outfit crush that is. That's the theme for this weeks Friday's Fancies! I had a couple other photos in mind which didn't work out so I settled on this gorgeous gal and her classic Fall look. I think the green leather jacket paired with the burgundy booties is perfection! What do you think, are you crushin' on this outfit too?

Bam! Pow! Zap! Watch out, the comeback of the comic book has made it's way into the world of fashion! One designer riding this wave is Phillip Lim. His Fall '12 collection was inspired by comic books such as Sin City and V for Vendetta. He actually went as far as releasing a comic titled Kill The Night at FNO to showcase the collection! Would you have the super human strength to rock this trend? 

How about something not so literal? Herve Leger by Max Azria’s Resort 13 collection definitely had a dose of super hero chic!

A Dose of "To Do's" (Fall Edition)...

This weekend marked the official start of Fall! Now even though Saturday's temp was over 100 degrees, I'm still getting excited for all the fun things this time of year has to offer. My summer to-do list was quite successful so I have high hopes for the coming months!  So without further ado..

My Fall Bucket List:

Pick some apples

And then attempt these.

Take a trip to the cabin or go camping

Roast marshmallows

Visit the State Fair (for the food of course!)

Enjoy some tailgating

Run the Frank Kush 5k

And then indulge in some pretzels and beer at Oktoberfest afterwards :)

Go pumpkin picking

Host/attend a pumpkin carving party

Attend a costume party

(and DO NOT wait until the night before to find a costume!) Ideas are welcome!

Play a game of flag football with friends

Volunteer for the Ironman Arizona

Spend quality time with the family..Cuz that's really what this time of year is all about right?

A Dose of Football Frenzy...

Football season is in full effect and I'm enjoying every minute of it! So obviously I was happy to hear that the theme for Friday's Fancies was Football Frenzy! Now I couldn't be playing favorites so I planned an outfit for both of my teams! The Arizona Cardinals and ASU of course! The Cardinals are off to a great start this season but they've been known to break my heart a time or two so my fingers are crossed! Are you a football fan?
