Bam! Pow! Zap! Watch out, the comeback of the comic book has made it's way into the world of fashion! One designer riding this wave is Phillip Lim. His Fall '12 collection was inspired by comic books such as Sin City and V for Vendetta. He actually went as far as releasing a comic titled Kill The Night at FNO to showcase the collection! Would you have the super human strength to rock this trend? 

How about something not so literal? Herve Leger by Max Azria’s Resort 13 collection definitely had a dose of super hero chic!

A Dose of "To Do's" (Fall Edition)...

This weekend marked the official start of Fall! Now even though Saturday's temp was over 100 degrees, I'm still getting excited for all the fun things this time of year has to offer. My summer to-do list was quite successful so I have high hopes for the coming months!  So without further ado..

My Fall Bucket List:

Pick some apples

And then attempt these.

Take a trip to the cabin or go camping

Roast marshmallows

Visit the State Fair (for the food of course!)

Enjoy some tailgating

Run the Frank Kush 5k

And then indulge in some pretzels and beer at Oktoberfest afterwards :)

Go pumpkin picking

Host/attend a pumpkin carving party

Attend a costume party

(and DO NOT wait until the night before to find a costume!) Ideas are welcome!

Play a game of flag football with friends

Volunteer for the Ironman Arizona

Spend quality time with the family..Cuz that's really what this time of year is all about right?

A Dose of Football Frenzy...

Football season is in full effect and I'm enjoying every minute of it! So obviously I was happy to hear that the theme for Friday's Fancies was Football Frenzy! Now I couldn't be playing favorites so I planned an outfit for both of my teams! The Arizona Cardinals and ASU of course! The Cardinals are off to a great start this season but they've been known to break my heart a time or two so my fingers are crossed! Are you a football fan? If so, who will you be rooting for this season?

With all the skull print and skull inspired accessories I've been seeing lately you'd think it was Halloween! Not quite, but skulls are definitely a hot trend right now! Whether it's subtle with edgy jewelry or more eye catching like the Topshop sweater below, it will always make a statement. I think the jewelry would be about as far as I would go or possibly an item for the home like the gold skull from Z Gallerie. But what about you..would you rock the skull trend? If so, which items are your favorite?

If your "dying" over this trend (ha bad joke), Zara has some cute skull inspired items at the moment. Like this blouse worn by Kate! And these slippers that are identical to the pair featured by Alexander McQueen but at a fraction of the cost!

So last night I was walking through the mall when these caught my eye through the window. They were almost identical to the Rag & Bone Harrow booties I've been lusting after! Unfortunately those carry a price tag of $495 and it was never gonna happen. So where did I spot this amazing steal you ask? ...Wet Seal of all places! For $30 bucks, heck why not?! What do you think, can you tell the difference? Take a guess at which pair ended up in my closet!

A Dose of Lately...

Boy oh boy...August and September have been busy months for me! Time is flying and I feel like I'm barely able to keep up! I've been wanting to blog about all the fun things that I've been up to but just haven't found the time. So this post is a lil recap of some happenings lately.

August.

Tons of birthdays! I blogged about a few but I think I celebrated with friends every weekend!

Cardinals vs. Broncos game! I bought tickets for Alisha's birthday. She is big Broncos fan!
