I think they make the perfect addition to any weekend outfit. Cold weather or warm, it doesn't matter. You're sure to find the perfect one to match your climate and style! Now what do you think? A Dose of Lou...

This past weekend left me feeling refreshed and just plain happy. It wasn't filled with anything spectacular but just some simple moments with friends and family, and those always put a smile on my face. So Friday night I made good on my To-Do list and managed to fit in a run. Did you hear that? Friday night people..dedication right there. ;) Then Saturday the weather was just too amazing to pass up so we hit the mountain for a beautiful hike. I'll admit, I'm a tad sore but the view at the top was worth it. That evening was spent with my niece and nephew so my sis could celebrate with her hubby. (Happy Anniversary guys!!) When Sunday came around I was ready to indulge with mimosas and french toast at a birthday brunch! And believe me, we indulged indeed. There may have been a life sized cotton candy thrown in there somewhere as well. :) Hope you all enjoyed your weekend! Happy Monday friends.

  

 

Would You? Wednesday...

With Valentines Day being tomorrow I'm curious if you ladies are planning on donning your best red and pink attire? Typically red and pink aren't really my thing (or dressing up for holidays) and I actually checked my closet last night only to find out that I do not own one single pink article of clothing! I know!! Ok, I do own a gray cardigan with pink stripes but I figured that's a stretch. However, with spring creeping up on us I'm tempted to try something out of my comfort zone...slightly. I recently purchased a skirt similar to the one below and here is how I would envision wearing it for V-day. Obviously I still can't seem to get away from black. ;) But how cute are those Zara heels?! Thanks to Summer for the heads up on those. Seriously, go check out their site asap. So many good things! Ok so would you, or rather, will you be dressing up for Valentines?

A Dose of NYFW...

New York Fashion Week is in full swing and although I love reading up about what's being sent down the runways, it's the street style that makes me giddy. So today I thought I'd share a few of my faves with you ladies! Enjoy. 

I'm loving this classic combination of flares and a navy pea coat (and a turtleneck!). And can we mention her hair, so gorgeous!

A Dose of Layers...

Today I'm featuring two of my favorite looks for Friday's Fancies. Both of these ladies are rockin' winter layers so perfectly that I just couldn't decide between them. Would You? Wednesday...

So like always, I set out searching online for one thing and 2 hours later find myself totally sidetracked and I have completely forgotten what I was looking for in the first place. Does that happen to you? Ok, good. Anyways, my original idea for today was based on this post. Do you see how fabulous Jessica Alba is making her second piercing look?! I love it. I've never wanted to pierce my ears again but now I can't help but be tempted.  But instead of raising the question about piercings I decided to take it a step further. What do you ladies think about ear cuffs? Even if you're not wanting to make that second (or third!) hole a permanent one, you can always add some glam or edge with one of these! So would you? 

I really don't think I could ever get away with wearing something like the above right but I do like this dainty heart cuff! These are tempting as well!

A Dose of Ski Style...

The weekend is finally here (well almost) and I couldn't be more excited! Tomorrow I'll be headed to the rowdiest golf tourney there ever was at the Waste Management Open. Be prepared for Instagrams full of plaid pants, foam fingers, cute golfers and loads of sunshine! Yay! But let's not jump the gun! Today is Friday of course, and I think {Av} at Long Distance Loving must be reading my mind. Last weeks FF's was black and white and today's theme is "Apres-ski", which is perfect because I've been day dreaming about potential outfits for my trip to Big Sky in three weeks! So if money were no object, I'd love to be bundled up in this come vacation time. Still on a black and white kick, as you can tell. :)

I secretly wish I lived somewhere where it snowed so I could buy a pair of Sorels (and be able wear them more than once a year)! Love them. Sorels or not, I'm very excited to hit the slopes soon! Anyone spending their winter skiing or snowboarding? Which do you prefer? I once tried skiing with an ex-boyfriend (bless his heart) and I'm pretty sure after 10 mins in he wanted to leave me at the top of the hill. I was terrible. I kept to snowboarding after that one. Have a wonderful weekend friends!
