A few of my favorite things...

These are a few things I've been loving as of late and I thought I'd share. I love hearing about new products, places etc. so feel free to share your favorites!Urban Decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner

This is the best liquid liner I've tried so far. It goes on super smooth. The extremely thin brush allows for an easy, sharp application. It literally stays in place all day long (my test, an hour nap and no need to fix or reapply). Normally I steer clear of anything "waterproof" because it's usually a pain to remove but this acts almost like a latex or eyelash glue and sort of peels off with washing.
This leads us to my next favorite...

Sephora

I swear I cant leave this store without purchasing a few new things to try. I go in with something in mind and I end up browsing for at least hour...kinda like everyone's Target experience I'm sure. Now usually I hate stores that want to "help" you shop (eh em.. Buckle) but I encourage you to work with someone while shopping at Sephora. They are very knowledgeable and always willing to give free samples of products you might be interested in! These are perfect to use when traveling! In my last visit I scored the Philosophy eye cream and night treatment (which I'm in love with as well) and some Dior cleanser. Plus I earned a free gift with my reward points. Score!

F21 Ankle Skinnies with zippers

It's definitely hit or miss when it comes to purchasing cheap skinny jeans but I have been living in these lately. I've worn and washed them several times and still no loss of shape or stretch. I think the zippers add a lil' edge to them too! They are perfect with ballet flats or a pump!

Pumpkin Muffins

Two ingredients and that's it! A box of yellow cake mix and a 15 oz can of pumpkin. Mix and bake! Easy peasy and super yummy. I added mini chocolate chips to mine!

I started doing Crossfit workouts last week and I'm loving it.

Football Season

I'm a sports fan all the way and football season is so exciting! It makes it feel a lil' more like Fall around here. Go Cards! I'm sad they don't make this with the Cardinals logo so I might just have to go with second best. Da Bears. Does this make me a traitor? oops.

"You become what you spend the most of your time doing"...

This girl is pretty amazing. Although I don't know her personally, she is an inspiration. When she said "You become what you spend the most of your time doing" in this post, well wow, that really got me thinking. Am I devoting my time to the things that matter most to me? Things that I would want to define me? It's such a simple idea but it's 100% truth. Something to think about right? If you haven't seen her blog, check out what drives her here.

I was so excited to find out that us Arizonans (as well as the rest of the 49 states) can now shop online at ZARA starting today! Did I mention free shipping and free returns? Excuse me while I go fill my "shopping bag" with this, this, and these!

Fall Faves

Here in AZ fall seems like forever away and it's torture walking into shops and lusting after items that you wont be able to wear for at least 3 more months! I like my shopping experience to be one of "immediate gratification" and you wont see items sitting in my closet with tags for too long. So these seasonal transitions are the worst for me, wanting to buy but knowing I cant wear it for weeks, that is not my idea of fun! So in the meantime I'll be dreaming of wide leg denim, button down blouses, leather, knitted slouchy sweaters and boots boots boots!

Beating The Heat...

So far my summer has consisted of either spending time by the pool, the beach or the lake. When the temps reach 110 degrees on average, any time spent outside must involve a body of water! Last weekend we did just that. Alisha and I at Canyon Lake
